The hammerhead shark often symbolizes strength and tenacity and are believed to represent strong instinct, intelligence and power.  It is believed they are a spirit animal called upon to guide and help when you are hesitant or fearful in life. Pushing you to take action and bring your intentions to life and gives you the courage and eloquence to say what needs to be said and doing what needs to be done.  I thoroughly enjoyed creating this piece as a Native artist, infusing it with Polynesian elements
