Jozette James

Multifaceted artist, ceramicist, and jeweler, Jozette James is a Washington native who takes inspiration from the tropical sea, her Mexican heritage, and her time living on the Lummi reservation with her husband Mark James.
Employing a meticulous approach, she handcrafts every piece, dedicating careful attention to the creation of decorative appliques that embellish her bowls, vases, and platters. Following this intricate process, each item undergoes a series of firings, receiving meticulous glazing and additional firings to bring forth vibrant and distinctive colors.
The result is a collection of entirely original and one-of-a-kind pieces.
